Go to Engine diagnostics, look under the general tab. Raise the airflow and MAP thresholds in the P0068 group.
Your motor is dying because your idle airflow table is not correct for the new idle speeds and your base idle spark tables need adjusting. Coast down spark should not go below 0 degrees.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I'll try it out tomorrow.
you need to turn off torque management on your close throttle (CT) downshifts. That will help keep it from stalling.

I was able to keep the codes from showing up. I set the P0068 to 7000 rpm. I'm sure that isn't the right thing to do, but it removed it from showing up.
I also played with the idle issue and had it better idling at 775, but I can get it to stall still. I have to learn how to adjust the Coastdown and what it even means.
Thanks for the help. I've certainly enjoyed learning all of this stuff. I'm also quite pleased that the mechanical part of this is working as it should. If I had a tuner that I trusted around here, I’d do that, but in the meantime I will keep dinking with it.
Earlier I set the P0068 code to only activate after 7k RPMs (basically deactivating the code), but I think I may have figured out the real problem. I think what is happened is that I am running up the RPMs so fast that I am hitting the rev limiter before the car actually shifts. Since I have it cutting fuel, it gets the error. This is my assumption. I hope to try my theory tomorrow.
I'm still stumped on the dive and buck that the car does. I advanced the idle base and idle coastdown which helped some, but it didn't completely fix the problem and now the KRs are happening during coastdown. I suspect that since the KRs are occurring, I can't advance any further and must look elsewhere. I hate being such a noob at this, but I have to start somewhere.
You don't want to raise base idle timing much at all, you need to increase base running airflow in the 400-1600 rpm range and all the other complimenting airflow tables.

Thanks Patrick.
Do you think my REV limiter theory makes sense?
There's a table in the rev limiter section that you need to zero out. It lowers your rev limiter if you're accelerating too fast.
