Talking WMA (Washer Modders Anonymous)...the embarrassing truth

I need to start out by saying that im pissed that the only drone free set up for this car is a Corsa system, which doesnt do dick for performance, and costs too much(IMO of course) and the OEM GT(too quiet IMO) of GXP(ricer sounding with LTs), and now there some crazy tubing going on which is probably great for stock exhaust G8s, but now one with LTs.

    So,

I was readjusting the ARH system and stock GT mufflers the other day, while i was at it, i took two small washers and put them between the flanges at the axleback.....i know....im creating an exhaust leak....but i was curious....

and worst of all, i really like it. The GT muffler set up was just a little too suttle for me at idle and cruise, not bad at WOT, but overalll too quiet. this little leak adds a touch of drone/resonance at the lower RPMS, but very smooth and over the entire range, so its not that horrible drone that comes with all aftermarket axlebacks. These small washers add the perfect amount of that low hum you want. im ashamed to say it, but im keeping the washers on for now, until someone finds a better sound for this car(probably never).
