Default Tvs1900 or Tvs2300? thats the question!

will be in the market for a blower soon. im deciding between the tvs1900 or the tvs2300 for my g8. i have no plans to go bigger motor ever in this car. really dont want to do a fuel pump either.
also want this car to be reliable and dont plan on running a really small pulley either. just enough to make back the boost i lose with longtubes.
Now, either one i will like to run a cog drive with.
only visit the track about 3-5 times a year. not my goal for this car either.
    magnuson gurus please chime in!
    thanks guys

I've been completely happy with the TVS1900; I'm running a 2.8 pulley and it's producing 10 lbs of boost. I'm no expert at this but from what I recall, efficiency is the issue with which unit to get. If you get enough boost from the 1900 without overdriving it too much, efficiency will be fine and make it the better choice. Also, if you don't want to go to more fuel, I can't imagine you'll need the 2300. I have higher flow injectors and a BAP to keep up with what I've got. Just my $0.02.

I've got the 1900, however I have stock internals. I would have thought your car with the cam and other mods would be deep in the 12's. Either one will be ok, if your going to do further mods you probably should go with the 2300. Enjoy the power and save for rear tires, maggies hate them bad.

That's not a real question anymore, even WickedMom will tell you that. If you want stoplight to stoplight performance, go with the 2300. If you plan on racing farther than 1 city block, go Procharger or single/twin turbo kit. No offense to the Maggie guys (or gals), especially Daniel Linnett, but as far as adiabatic efficiency, RPM limit, driveline lifespan, and tire mileage are concerned, centrifugal blowers or hairdryers seem to have an edge. The turbo kits can even out-torque the Maggies but somehow seem to not break the trannies so easily.

    Choose wisely, my son.

well. i can get a sick.deal on a procharger d1 kit with everything way cheaper then a maggie.
but im not paying for the maggie. a friend of mine is.
if i was paying.myself procharger may be the smarter choice
