I had an '07 S/C'ed w/ a GM STG 2 on it and it was definitely a fun little DD. I had one of the few '07's that had Recaros...

Give it about a mile or so and it would be at the limiter of 148mph w/ three people inside...

Damn Rick, it sounds like you picked up a pretty sweet daily driver! That tuned HP & TQ curve look great!

I'm sure it's fun to drive!

How do you get a FWD car to hook up? Seems to me that the weight transfer would unload the driving wheels. ???

I am trying very hard to convince my GF to get one, so I can rip on it whenever i feel like using a clutch.

Yeah its a downgrade but the faster stock part is debatable they make 250 to the tires stock and weigh 2900 lbs I'd say they are about equal or so stock however they are ALOT cheaper to make fast plus mine gets like 32+ MPG hehe

A G8 GT would take them on the launch, from a roll it will be challenging.

2009 G8 GT: Stryker Blue, Premium Package, Garage
Modifications: Vararam Ram Air Intake, VMS PowerFlash, PM-FL no muffler axle-backs, ARH 1 7/8ths header system with cats
    Deciding: Cam in a year?

More than likely, even stock its a bit of handful to launch correctly

Nice gains regardless. Have you done this tune for a Solstice/Sky 2.0L T? I would be interested to see their gains since I'm sure they hook up better and weigh around the same.
No offense taken, it's a huge downgrade for me as well. I had a head/cam Corvette convertible that got totaled after I was hit by a semi.

If I didn't have the shop cars to drive, I probably would have bought another sports car, but right now I figured I'd save the money and not need a winter/summer vehicle and just have one car.

It's a fun little "chick" car and gets excellent mileage though. High 20's in the city and low-mid 30's on the expressway.

A dead dig launch is tough in these cars.

From a 40 roll - 110ish I was pretty even with a manual trans GXP
