I had a turbo Cobalt SS that I traded on my G8 GT.
No denying that it was a quick car, but it just wasn't for me...I love big cars with big engines. The Cobalt will definitely out-handle a stock G8, and tuned, like Rick said, will be very fast in a straight line, too. Mine started making all the bad interior creaking/rattle sounds with around 6000 miles on it, and it was just too small for me for to be my only car...hence a G8.
Better not be caught sleeping at a light with one, though.

I forgot to mention how bad the horn was.
The videos reminded me G8 horn >>>> Cobalt horn.

I would like to see that Cobalt from a dead stop. I understand this new "roll racing", but thats not how its done. If I could roll race with my ET Streets.......

I know roll racing isn't a real race, but it has nothing from a dead dig.. from a second gear roll it pulls pretty good and keeps pulling strong through 3rd and 4th.
Here's a quick vid I just did of mine from a dig, 0-70 MPH. It seemed slow, but going from even a 20-30 roll in second, and the speedo moves much quicker.

Dont get me wrong Rick, after years of pesky V-Tecs and ricers I am SO glad for the ECOTEC engine. I think the Cobalt can handle any of the imports, it just should have happened 10 years ago.
